The landscape of the food and beverage scene in Simi Valley will soon be getting a huge boost. Simi Valley’s only brewery and hang out spot will be opening it doors in the near future.
Craft beer is something that has grown immensely popular over the past 10 to 15 years. Fans of craft beer crave a place that they can go and enjoy quality brews while socially connecting with like-minded aficionados. I believe Mad Era has the plan to become a favorite stop for anyone looking for a tasty beer and delicious grub.
On a whim I reached out to Mad Era Brewery via social media and I received an immediate response from Adam Greenberg one of the founders. I was impressed by the hospitality he showed me. Adam invited me out to tour the brewery.
Adam toured me around and my initial impression was the size. This brewery figures to be setup to meet the needs of anyone looking for a great time, great beer, and great food. MAD ERA will have 30 taps of mostly Mad Era brews with the possibility of a few guest taps. 2 bars and an amazing patio setup await you. I can imagine having a nice chilled brown or lager brew as I munch on some tasty grub.
Talking to Adam I could tell he wants to get this right and open the brewery how its intend to be experienced on day one. When we discussed the food he’s interested in serving he noted he wants to bring uncomplicated slightly elevated gastro pub food to Simi Valley. Admittedly for my liking this is an area of Simi that needs an Infusion of culinary influences. Simi has potential and I think Mad Era is up for the challenge.
Mad Era is still coming together and I will be anxious awaiting the grand opening. I imagine this will be Simi Valley’s go to spot in the years ahead.
